Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, good night. So I got a question. Do you honor your mother and father even though they put you through hell? Even though they don't love you? Even though you was adopted? I mean, you know, what I believe is honor that mother, that father, even if whatever happens. I love my mom to death so much and she just keeps hurting me and hurting me and hurting me. And I was just sitting here and it just came to me just like I never want to, you know, disrespect her or talk about her bad. I just want to share the story, what I went through and the tribulations, the triumphs. And I love my mom to death. But sometimes I just need a break. You definitely need break from people and my heart is big. I love her even if she don't love me.
You know, they're just humans, and sometimes they can act a little immature, but you have to understand them and understand that they're toxic and still love them.
It's a very complex situation I know, but sometimes you just gotta stand back, you know, and it's just like loving a cat, you know. Even if you hate a cat.
I'm going to take a different position and say honoring your parents comes with a promise of a better life. And sometimes that involves different things.
In my life, I always was very frustrated by my dad because things he did didn't make sense and he yelled all the time and I sensed he was controlling. But the second I, um, over the years, something changed.
What changed is I decided to fulfill my end of the commandment, and something odd happened. Turns out people do change people in subtle ways, and now our family is more harmonious.
Honor thy mother and thy father so your days will be longer. And you took that commandment and things change. You love your parents and they see how much you love them.
I want to sprinkle a little brimstone in there and speak from this applies to the males, really. A man who does not love his son is inhuman. A son who won't forgive his father is profoundly immature.
I'm older now and I can never fucking understand why My fucking parents were so fucking mean. It does not make sense to me. I Cannot give him a fucking pass. They don't get a fuck
I guess we have to be a symbol for our parents. You know the Bible said honor that mother and that father so that days will be longer. So you honoring your mother and father even though they treat you...
I think you can honor your mother and father and not talk crazy about them, but I think you're also owed distance. Loving from a distance is sometimes the best way you can honor people, especially if they don't respect your boundaries or your heart.
