I'll just take out the time to learn the lesson, be appreciative, learn stuff about me, take out some time to heal, be by myself for a while, and then, shit, that's when the transformation starts.

Man, it's the lesson that's the real gift out of all of it. I know it's painful, but that lesson, when you've really taken it in, you'll make sure it never happens, and it's worth it.

I definitely can't disagree. It really severs that emotional tie into the previous person and allows for a new emotional connection, whether it be the person you were just intimate with or somebody new.

You need to focus on yourself, your goals, whether it's career goals, personal growth, fitness, whatever it is. Put all that energy into yourself. That's the only way to bounce back.

I worked for a company for years and without me knowing, a few years later I became someone who I'm not.
