Hey how are you I hope you're having an amazing day today thank you so much we definitely appreciate it much love to you and your friends in your family
I think the difference is that our Christmas is only celebrated one day and then Ramadan is the whole month I don't know if I'm wrong with this information
We have some Muslims as well believe that there are rewards for fasting so when you fast during Ramadan or do anything good deeds you get rewards for spiritual rewards
The purpose of Ramadan is to grow spiritually closer to God you're not to your family to to helping the poor to abstaining from eating and drinking and pleasures in life smoking drinking etc.
Donating to charities, spending time with loved ones, avoid lying, avoid gossiping and fighting and etc. But I hope that can answer your question. Much love to you.
Hey Laura I hope you're doing great today I hope your days been fantastic and yes I am usually around the world many Muslims join together and fasting and celebrating Ramadan
Over here in Canada our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has also wished Ramadan Mubarak meaning like happy Ramadan to the Muslims who would be fasting this Ramadan
I have seen a lot of celebrations around this holiday and you know social media. I have always wondered what it is about but now you explain. Thank you.
Yeah great point it's going alright it's going alright always difficult in the beginning the hardest part I find actually is once it's time to break the fast and the way you feel afterwards for very sluggish et cetera as I usually eat a lot
