One thing that I can always say that I remember is when Home Economics was inside of the school. Do y'all ever remember the days that Home Economics was on a specific day and you couldn't wait because you was in the kitchen cooking, or sewing, or doing some type of crafty thing that you seen grandmama do, or something?
I remember always being in the kitchen with my grandmothers, and I couldn't wait to get to school, to do home economics, to show something else that my grandmother showed me how to cook. Or when I got home and I was showing my grandmothers how I was learning to prep or cook a certain meal inside of school. So I miss that. So I teach that to my little one at home, home ec.
So my 8-year-old helped me make the noodles. See, broke it up and placed it in there so y'all see how it's placed in there, right? He has time to learn. He'll get better and better. Just like my 23-year-old got better and better when it came to cooking. So my 8-year-old is gonna get better and better at this as well. I'm just giving this little chef a little bit of time.
