MC1, do you honestly think this is about Christianity rising again when it comes to this poll and it comes to their political agendas? You honestly think it has anything to do with a religious view called Christianity? It's only a cloak. It's only a cloak.
It tremendously impacts the world of Christianity, because most Christians are Roman Catholic. I'm not Roman Catholic. I am Eastern Orthodox, true Catholicism. I do not see this seat of Peter as legitimate and the authority to have universal jurisdiction is valid. But even in my perception, I cannot ignore how important it is that we have a new pope, Pope Leo XIV.
Actually, no distinction. Only Protestant Christians make this sort of distinction. Catholics are Christian. There's no separate about that. It's just that there's a difference in theology and ecclesiology in the Catholic Church versus a lot of Protestant churches. Like, the Catholic Church has, for example, the seven sacraments, it has the veneration of saints, icons, etc., which most Protestant denominations do not, or only have partly of that.
Faith is faith, and any religion will rise up if it has something to do with faith. So you can be Christian, you can be Catholic, whatever you are, respect to you. Faith is faith, and any religion will rise up if it has something to do with faith.
