Hello, good afternoon. Today I am talking about The Little Prince and I'm talking about chapters 10 through, uh, yeah, so it's about when he goes and he visits the six planets that he does before he finally lands on Earth and there he meets a, he meets a monarch who turns out to be a very reasonable man. He meets a vain man, a drunkard or a drunk, a very serious businessman, a lamplighter who is basically caught in the time of work and has time for nothing else. And he meets a geographer who like finds like never has time to go out and explore for himself. themselves so what I found like what I like about this is that it basically what it does like these are all very serious professions and yes we can ask all the questions and figure out how can we become less like these people but yeah there probably is a way around that we think about like balance or what we do on our free time but what I like is that I think what it does is it's speaking on the way that these serious people and on these six planets think um a lot of them are very they're they're very holding on to the thought that being serious being important doing the serious work the academic work is is all that there is to life and i think that that's that's what the little prince is getting at that um where along the way or what happens to us when we start to think this way and when we lose our free will to thinking and our, I guess, our enthusiasm or our love for just living or for everything else that we can discover in this life.
