Interesting video. Whether this system or approach is better depends on the perspective. Saving millions of dollars and housing inmates would probably be welcomed by taxpayers, but prisons is also a business that benefit the companies that operate them, and it's also a source of cheap labor provided by inmates, so time will tell which approach is best.
