I don't think that we realize that comedy is what it is, and it's always been this. It's been a means for all things, including educating and awakening people in a way that is more sales-safe than revolution. Comedy itself has actually sparked revolutions and supported information travel. So sometimes we've got to look deeper than the surface and the inside.

Oh well, yes sis, you definitely spoke to some of the beneficial uses for it and it definitely invokes a very necessary thing called laughter. Yet the question was, has it been weaponized and used as an excuse? And to that I definitely say yes. I see it here every day. And I also see people.
