Yeah, yeah. So I recently had a friend, or actually a coworker who stopped working with us and ended up working or ended up doing an internship with this place. But then we found out she spent $8,000 to do an internship with this place. I don't know if I've ever heard of a place where you're interning at that you have to pay the money. Never really heard of that. And then the fact that it was $8,000 blows my mind. Has anybody else ever heard this?
Oh absolutely crazy. I mean, paying for an internship, I'd rather, you know, like it's an internship. Like you get paid to be an intern. You don't pay to be able to. It's, you know, I get money because I'm working.
Yeah, I definitely feel that because I've never heard of ever paying, especially the amount of $8,000 for an internship. It's just, it was totally ridiculous.
So usually how internships work in the US is either one you are getting paid as an employee or two you are getting college credits towards your degree. I think your friends being scammed.
