What's good, what's good? So there was this show with this guy named CW trying to beef at me because I told him that I don't write whole songs for free. I will write a hook if I want to by my own cause for fun. But if I'm going to write songs for people and stuff, I charge for that because I am an actual business person and entertainer. I come from a line of award winners, that's actually in the music industry. So this is not necessarily a stereo play thing for me of trying to achieve something on an app because I'm not doing well outside of an app. So he had one woman trying to come explain the situation that she said she was in and out and didn't really know what happened. But yeah, my thing is, would you charge to write songs? Because I know that people who really do music charge, they're not doing stuff for free. So I'm not interested in salty people who don't have the money to pay people for work. Y'all can keep that type of energy away from me. Learn how to pay people for a service that you're asking for. That's not scamming, that's actual real business. You're scamming yourself and selling yourself short by focusing on attention from an app instead of actually having stability in real life. If this is more important to you, the stability and wellbeing, I feel sorry for you. But would you charge to write music like I charge to write music? Or would you let people trick you into doing shit for free like that CW dude was trying to do me?

Whatever you're gonna do, get paid for it. Do it however you want. That's a crazy conclusion to think that you're gonna do something for free. That's kind of, that's nuts.

I know I'm late to this conversation, but as someone who is an independent artist, musician, songwriter, and producer, and all of that good stuff, yes, absolutely, I would charge to write music.
