Legend has it that Atlantis was the definition of a utopian society. It was highly advanced, maybe more than we can even fathom beyond today's technologies. The land had an abundance of resources that allowed for plentiful crops, natural metals and stone for building materials, plenty of water to supply everything, and an overload of important minerals. To top all of that off, they had incredible naval and military power, so this place was like living in a 10-star resort that we don't even know about, and was essentially untouchable due to the defenses that they built.
