your significant other did the unthinkable. They're sick with guilt and come clean immediately telling you everything. They are genuinely sorry and will do anything to make it right. You believe them. What's your next move?

People who cheat are generally unhappy with themselves and it usually has nothing to do with the other person. They're unhappy and looking for an external way of loving themselves.

So cheaters are selfish people. They are the only ones who will benefit from their actions. So yeah, do not give a cheater a second chance.

So in relationship if people are cheating on you it's their choice. Cheating never can be a mistake it's a choice so I don't think we should give them a second chance.

I think that in that situation I wouldn't be able to trust or look at that person in the eye again. I will believe that they won't do it but they definitely won't do it at me again. I think I love myself more than I love that person and it's time to move forward.

Well, I don't give second chance to people in my life because once it's done, it's done. Yeah.

Although it is appreciated that they feel guilt as they should, unfortunately there's just too many steps that have to, you know, you have to go through to cheat. So unfortunately that's a major disrespect and unfortunately it's also a no trust no relationship kind of deal at that point.

I feel that in that case I would not give a second chance because if a person cares even the minimum about you, they wouldn't do it. If they really love you, they just wouldn't shoot period.

Of course, it would be harder to give your 100% trust to this person. This person should earn it back. I would want to see if this person is truly sorry and would really want to change.

I don't think it would ever be comfortable after that. It will always be wondering, looking over your shoulder, second guessing, too much doubt.

So for me I think you would definitely be a no because come on, that would never trust you again. Everything would have me second guessing you come home late, just claim that you're going out with friends.
