So I've been losing dreaming now for like three years and I've read probably like a dozen books on lucid dreaming. It's something I'm pretty passionate about. So there's three main pillars to lucid dreaming. The first is reality checks. Second is dream remembering and then third is dream I'll get into each one individually.

The first one is where everything starts is dream remembering. You have to remember your dream as soon as you wake up each morning. And the best way to do this is as you're falling asleep, remind yourself the first thing I do when I wake up is just reflect on my dream. and then preferably you'll have a dream journal and you'll record it.

So the main function of dream journaling is it kind of comes later in the practice, but for now all you need to know is like keeping a log of your dreams is important so that you can later go back and reflect on them and identify what's called dream science, but I can do that in a different message.

Okay, now this is like the key to inducing lucidity in your dreams. It's called reality checks So throughout your waking life throughout the day, you'll perform what's called a reality check What I usually do is just look at my hands and you think for a moment Become aware of your surroundings and think am I in a dream or not And the idea is that if you do this like 10 times per day It'll transfer over automatically while you sleep and then you'll do that in your sleep you'll look at your hands and be like, am I dreaming? And you'll be like, holy shit, I am. and you'll become losing.
