OK so in Los Angeles and probably in most big cities people don't really like to discuss their age like they don't really say their age once they do you know once they're like 25 or whatever nobody really mentions their age anymore and that's because a lot of people are in the entertainment industry and it's just smart for casting purposes not really to reveal your age because somebody could very well be 25 and could easily play a 19-year-old they could play a teenager so it's kind of it's kind of in their best interest not to say that they're 25 because then the casting people will auto kind of see 25 whereas before they may have actually saw 19 which is the age that they're casting for so it's just a business decision for the most part But I know people who are definitely in their 50s who try and like lie 30 like that's a massive gap and you look stupid the majority of people can't lie 30 when they're 50 now are there some people that can do it well yeah there's definitely I'm sure there's people who can do it but for the most part I just think people look so dumb when they're trying to lie a significant amount like if you're 50 and you wanna go out for a 40 year old roll you might be able to do that like that's just more realistic to me than trying to like act like you're in your late 20s or 30 I just think it's stupid what are you guys think
