Yep, that definitely sounds like a typical toddler. I am very jealous. I really wish that my siblings were involved in my children's life. They live like 10, 15 minutes away, but they can care less. They've maybe tried or made an effort once and my kids are like four and two. So kudos to you for being present in your niece or nephew's life because not a lot of siblings, unfortunately are.
