So recently my husband and I, we wanted to go watch the new Mario movie and we wanted to take the girls with us. We have taken our oldest when she was a little younger to the theater already. She slept through the movie and but this time was too, we had to plan kind of when they were going to take her nap that way they can sleep sleep during the time the movie's playing. The youngest one she slept through the movie, the oldest one kind of watched maybe a few minutes into the movie and then she just fell asleep. At first she was scared because it was really dark and started to cry before the movie started but then after that she just stayed calm and I don't think it's a bad idea if you plan it well. But I want to know if you've taken your younger younger children to the cinema before and if you think it's a bad idea.

I think it totally depends on the kid. My daughter could not sit through a movie at all. I tried to take her to the theater when she was two or three and she did not do well. We had to leave partway through the movie, but she's six now and still struggles to sit through a movie. So totally depends on the kid.

Definitely agree with you I mean some children just don't like to be well what child likes to be sitting for a long long time no one so I totally understand it

It all depends on the child you know I feel like it's not necessarily the age because there could be 23 year olds and one can be acting up and one can be super calm and watching the whole movie so it all depends on the child honestly

Yep I agree with you it depends on the child and like you said I don't think it's necessary to take them I mean they don't really fully understand if you're that small so yeah

Honestly I don't think so I think it is a fun experience and you just might never know if they will sit still and if they don't I have to do is leave and it's the thought that counts at least you tried but if they do sit still then that's so fun

It is a fun experience, but I can only imagine once they're old enough to be able to sit down and actually enjoy the morning, it's going to be a much more enjoyable experience.

I don't think it's a bad idea as long as the kid is old enough to let's say sit down and and get entertained by the movie. and of course an H-appropriate movie.

I think it's a bad idea. I mean as long as you're able to, I guess, take a nap, how you say you schedule it right on their naps, I think that's awesome. So I don't think it's That's a bad idea. I've never taken my daughter though.

I've only taken her twice, well my oldest, she's only been there twice and then my youngest one is her first time and we do try to schedule it during their nap time that way we know that they'll fall asleep and we'll be able to watch.

I think it really depends I've taken my little sister when she was smaller and if it's a movie she wants to see if she'll stay still or at least if it's a kids movie

I don't have kids right now, but when I do have them, I have thought about this a lot. So I think I'm gonna make a whole big day out of their first movie. I'll probably wait till they're old enough to not scream through it.
