Asking for a friend, have you ever felt consumed by the thought of your partner cheating on you even though he or she never really had any indications of of doing so? How did you get over that? Did you move on or did you guys break up?

Well, personally I have never had that kind of thoughts in my head or doubts about the other person.

You know, I think that's indicative of, like, a confidence issue or something, though. I don't need to worry about that.

It wasn't me it was the other person who had thought that I was cheating on them and they tore our relationship apart like we could've been great if they weren't so insecure unfortunately

I definitely don't think it's all in your head because of the things that we're so exposed to, especially like on social media or other opinions where we are hearing these things about what's happening to others. So it's definitely not all in your head.

I will say what helps though is reminding myself that that's like apples to oranges just because it's happening to someone else doesn't mean it's happening in my relationship. And so I just got to put in faith and trust. And if things are being really problematic, than I know to move forward.

I totally agree with you, it's super important not to complete the two apples and oranges like you said

You guys are having to stand in the first place that means there's a good reason so you should just like you know break up with your partners y'all like it just break up with them

Yeah, usually my first instinct would be to break up with the partner. there shouldn't be anything to cause this in the first place.

Yeah, yeah, 100%. But that was like a time of reflection. I found out that there was a lot of insecurities about myself. I got over it and it doesn't exist anymore.

I think you're totally right here where it stems from insecurities about oneself and it's definitely solvable and you're able to get over it.

I feel like you can't be consumed by that stuff because again someone doing that to you is not a reflection of who you are as an individual like and people have free will to do what they do etc like
