Are sequels always worse than the original I would say yes about 80% of the time I find that they're just not as good

I would say it's got to be a 50-50 split on good and bad sequels nowadays

Not always but I'd say probably throughout history the sequels are usually worse but there are some sequels that are just really good compared to the original and sometimes even better
