So I just saw something on Instagram and it was a guy talking about why people give other people the silent treatment. And he said that people give other people the silent treatment to cause that person pain. And that's not why I do it at all. When I give somebody the silent treatment, it means something has really upset me and I just physically cannot talk about it or I will break down. And I do not want anybody to hear me like that.
