If some people didn't know, today is World Mental Health Day. Whoopie-do, I say, as a person who manages extremely difficult mental health. Well, it's not mental health, it's mental illness and neurodiversity which has impacted me for the majority of my life. Now, I do find World Mental Health Day a little bit amusing. What I mean by that is there are definitely some well-meaning good people out there who want to impact and affect change and do good things. however there's also a lot of people who for me don't appear to be affected by mental health in a difficult way at all but they do it because it's a bit of a bandwagon that arrives they look cool the influencers come out they explain to those of us that manage these difficult things what to do and how to do it when they don't do it and then they disappear again for another year so here's a thing if you want to help people with difficult mental health issues Listen to them.
