This is Sister Crystal here and I am back with another post and in honor and in celebration of the 50-year anniversary of hip-hop, what was the first hip-hop song or album you have ever purchased? My first hip-hop album I have purchased was actually a cassette tape back in 1986. It had a compilation of a song called White Lines on there. It had a song from Run-D.M.C. and the Fat Boys. It was actually a compilation cassette. But what was your first hip-hop song or album that you've ever purchased? And I'm looking forward to talking to you. Thank you.

Well, I can't say that I ever purchased any music back in the day. We had things called Frost Wire and Lime Wire where we could download the music for free. So, the first set of hip hop I was listening to was like the classic 90s hip hop songs. So, like the Biggie's, the Tupac's, the people from the 90s.

I don't purchase music. I just stream it. I listen to it on YouTube.
