I don't answer doors cause I got pulled out of my you know little front door area on the map by a cop so he couldn't even illegally speak to me and yeah that sucked they suck those bitches is kind of forceful and I'm not sure they're allowed to do that like actually reach into your home in and bring you outside so they can have the discussion Yeah
A reason for why I won't answer the door is if you just turn up unannounced and I do not care if you've driven far or wherever you've come from. If you just turn up unannounced, it will mean that I won't have to stop whatever I'm doing no matter how important it is because you're now in the house or because you've driven far. Book a hotel.
I primarily answer doors of people I'm expecting to come to my home, meaning that we've established an appointment or for them to come over and hang out in advance. You know, we don't live in a time anymore when random people can knock on the door and people feel safe, you know, like, it is what it is. I don't answer the door unless, you know, it's necessary.
I do remember a time though from when I was a child when it would be safe to answer the door. You know, like people were more open and you know excited when someone came over but times have changed. Why wouldn't you answer the front door?
