I don't know why people hate that word so much. Sorry for my bathroom fan, I'm pooping. Um, but... I just hate the idea of people using it because they like to be annoying for the sake of being annoying. I find that cringy. Now if you're talking about some nice decadent, spongy chocolate cake, you can say moist. moist. If you're talking about someone's sweaty undergarments after playing sports, and gross.

I like the word moist but I think it depends on how you use it depends on the context some people think that word is used to refer to sexual topics to sexual things and in that sense it is a little a little offputting but if you were to talk about something that's typically dry and it's wet and be like why is this moist that they would be a good use of that word
