So am I the only person that it bothers when people say oh yeah my son is 13 months or 15 months old like why can't you just say that they're a year old already like why do you have to continue with months I don't know I guess it just bothers me
As a mom of two I've never done that like I always tell people oh they're a year they birthdays here or there almost 2 or they're about to be three and such and such man so you can get an idea of where they at because all the damn numbers is unnecessary
I never really used to get it and I thought it was weird, but now that I'm a mom, I get it. There's big developmental differences between a 12-month-old and an 18-month-old, and both of them are technically one-year-old, like if you're going to say it like that. But it's very, very different, and I've had moms say something to me, to me be like oh how old is your son I'll be like two and then they like make a face because they think he's really advanced.
So it doesn't really necessarily bother me unless they're doing it and they're like oh yeah my kid is like 20 something months and it is a doll like I think it's normal to still like refer to them in months during their like first year to some people me personally I'll just be like yeah my sons you know a year and almost 3 months I don't personally say like he's 12 or 15 months things like that but it doesn't also really bother me when other people do
I think the people who said it they have 13 months or like you know 15 months people is when their husbands mom locked up or you know they did some time the cells so yeah you need to watch those type of people and their kids
