Grand Arising, check yourself. Thank you so much for this quote here by Patrick Lindsay, embracing your flaws, being a part of the Mormon faith. One of the things that they pushed down on the members was perfection. Even saying that people can be translated in this life if they reach perfection, making it seem attainable, right? But this is a lovely message above.

Many people believe that they must achieve perfection in this lifetime and as the quote says essentially no one's perfect we all have imperfections right we all fall short we all have weaknesses and because of that that is a that is a part of this life a part of this journey so we should embrace not wanting.

Essentially, we should embrace our flaws like the title says. We should embrace not wanting to be perfect because that's impossible. Not putting the pressure on ourselves to be perfect because perfection is impossible in this lifetime. And it makes me sad that there's religion out there that makes it seem like it is attainable when it's not. You know what I mean? So thank you for the reminder here.

My left eye is bigger than my right eye. My left leg is longer than my right leg. My right hip sometimes just slides out of the socket on its own. Yeah, I don't have any control over those. Oh, and sometimes my eye twitches. Wait, well that's a seizure. I ain't got no control over that either. Yep, so, it is what it is.

I think one of my biggest flaws is that if I don't like you, I really don't like you. I think because I have so much capacity and empathy for people and I always want the best for me and the people around me, so if you do something disrespectful to me, I turn into a different person and I hate that I get like that, you know what I mean?
