Don't get me wrong, I don't actively dislike Bill Murray. I don't even really have an- I mean I'm just kind of neutral on Bill Murray. Bill Murray's just Bill Murray. But then one day I started seeing like these like silhouette stickers of Bill Murray's face on people's cars and I'm like, is that Bill Murray? Why does this motherfucker have a sticker of Bill Murray on his car? Then I just started seeing people wearing like t-shirts with his likeness and then I was like, what am I missing about Bill Murray? And I've asked my friends and they were like, oh it's the Life Aquatic and I'm like, really? Really? Was that movie that great? And then yesterday I was like, oh, he was in Groundhog Day and that was iconic, let me re-watch that. I couldn't even fucking get through it. Like can somebody please tell me why is Bill Murray like the icon that he is?

He can be extremely sarcastic and kind of dickish in some of his characters, but he does it in a way that's lighthearted and funny. I feel like he's a walking meme.

Okay, right, I don't think you're wrong. I'm not saying he's a bad actor, I'm not saying he's not funny, but like so is Will Ferrell. I mean, so there are numerous other people that there's not this cult following of like-

Bullet points. Yes, you can only respond in 15 seconds, but if you start the little voice clip, you can talk for longer than 15 seconds. Two, I have seen... Fuck.

It's a fair question. I've often wondered sometimes why certain things are as popular as they are. In Bill Murray's case, there's the obvious stuff with the iconic films that he's been in, the style of comedy that he delivers.

But I'm starting to wonder if it's actually like he's making a sort of a bridge between our older generation of our parents and younger millennials now. Like what was relevant to them is also something that he can bring this relative to us.

Okay, now I'm getting off topic, but in the same vein, I nearly googled last night, why was Shakespeare so popular? Why has he endured for centuries? And I didn't google it, because I know that's a futile goog, but like, what the f-

My question is all of a sudden why is everybody so in love with Brendan Frazier, right? Like, what did this guy do? All of a sudden everyone's falling over Brendan Frazier. I don't get it.

The man's kind of a marketing genius and he's created all that Bill Murray lore by like showing up uninvited at house parties just to wash the dishes or whispering they'll never believe you into people's ears and walking away. I think it's that.

Okay, I remember saying Lost in Translation when it came out, but it's utterly forgettable. I have no memory of what it's about, just that I saw it. I haven't seen the other two, but like I said, his track record with me isn't good enough for me to seek out movies with him in it.
