This was our high-energy sports drink when I was growing up. Do they even let kids drink out of hoses anymore? Anybody know? Love and light, y'all.

Kids will never understand the struggle of not being able to go inside to get a drink of water because there was a hose already outside for you. And if you came inside, you got stuck inside and you didn't want to get stuck inside so you drunk from the fucking hose. I don't even think my kids know how to turn on the goddamn water hose out here, y'all. The hell? I got to do better. They need to taste the rust in the pipes as well. Look how I grew up. I'm fine. I ain't even get caught in it. It's probably because of that damn rusty-ass water hose.

Haha, you know it's submissive Tammy. It was all that. Yeah, the we had well water So, you know straight up out the ground Into the you know into the faucet into the hose, but that plastic taste I always remember the plastic taste the rubber being like the hose taste But yeah, no We got locked out of the house and handed a peanut butter and jelly sandwich through the door at noon If you weren't there, they put it on a little little table sitting there and you know You get a crusty dried up sandwich later if you want

Yeah, and if we weren't locked out and we went back in the house if the door wasn't locked and we went inside Right if we weren't running in to go pee and running right back out again We would get snatched up and put to work chores. Oh, you're gonna be in the house Well, you can go vacuum. You can go clean. You can go dust. You can go sort this stuff You could go, you know clean your room. You can go do something do some work cut some vegetables Yeah, I grew up learning how to run the house Because I had to do it. Mm-hmm help

Oh yeah, I grew up drinking out of a hose, for sure. Probably wouldn't do it now, but now that I know all the chemicals, and we're probably using more toxic chemicals and stuff now, just seems to be a trend, but oh yeah, I grew up drinking out of a hose, for sure. I mean, basically we were feral animals and they didn't let you in the house until dark, right?

Yeah, when we finally did get streetlights in the neighborhood, we had to be in the house before the streetlights came on. So if the streetlights came on, we hauled ass, like we were like, oh my God, I'm late, I'm gonna get in trouble, hoping that our parents hadn't looked out the window. So it was a trick. You had to be in before the streetlights came on. So we had to technically be in before dark, but yeah, not until dark. Right, exactly. Exactly.

I'm telling you nothing like some cool water We don't have a filter at your sink God help us with that one If you don't have yeah, if I bought a water or a tank Or some people buy those things those gallons of water I remember going to school and you're after you're playing sports. You just want to go to the water fountain and get some water right God help us with the water

Yeah, and you know what the water hose was even better than the water fountain because the water fountain man It took forever you got to get like that little tiny trickle and the man the water hose you turn the water hose on you Can't get that full You know flow and just and you can wet your whole head if you wanted to but I grew up in Florida So I would I would put my head over forward and wet my hair and wet my head Being out in the summer sun and heat and all that But yeah the full flow of water
