Honestly, I prefer couches. They're more comfortable and you can fall asleep in a couch and chairs are not really comfortable.

I will always vouch for the floor as long as you lay some blankets down you know you won't get carpet burn but it's a little more comfortable

Me personally, I prefer couches because I could spread out and I could lay down as much as I want and I could take up the whole couch from everybody else.
