Yes, 50 years of hip-hop. Hip-hop literally impacted my entire existence from being a young kid listening to like really good artists like Biggie, Tupac, Wu-Tang, Mobb Deep, you know what I'm saying? And just Jay-Z, Nas, Jadakiss, everybody, you know, they put me on to this lyrical like mindset that all these years later, now I'm the one making raps. I can't believe it to be honest with you, so it made a huge impact.
Nah that's a fact yo and you know that's the one thing I could say about technology right like as much as we down it with AI and you know all the shit that technology is toxic for the fact that we could actually record something put it on Apple ourselves you don't need nobody like and it's everywhere it's wild like so being influenced like that to be able to do that now because you know a lot of people say well why'd you wait so long it wasn't that easy back in the day but now yeah we could just keep dropping.
Good evening, Livewire. Shout out to you. Thank you for the post and the questions. So how did hip hop impact my life? Um, I feel like hip hop made my life a little more like open minded, well rounded. I grew up on hip hop. I was not that chick that grew up with country music or anything like that. I grew up with hip hop and rap. That's what I grew up with.
And hip-hop and rap has taught me, like, creativity, it's taught me flair, spice, it's taught me to, you know, be creative with even the way I sing. And when I sing, I don't sound like I can flow with hip-hop. I sound like a jazz singer, you know? But I get my flair even with my personality, with what I grew up with.
Well I can definitely say hip-hop has impacted my life basically by enlightening me on the real real of the world. R&B you know it does it doesn't take it to that extent so that's definitely one way it has impacted my life.
